Ricotta

Low in fat and high in protein, Ricotta is a dieter’s dream cheese. It has a light, delicate consistency and resembles(but is smoother than) cottage cheese. It’s clean flavours make it a great accompaniment to several Italian dishes like Lasagne and Ravioli, and it can be savoured on its own as well.
